— The chicken at the local chicken shack is ready to be put through the grill.
“You know, it’s really nice to be on the grill,” said Tami Anderson, who owns the restaurant.
The shack has been open for about a year and a half and has grown so much that it’s now part of the Auburn University campus.
Anderson and her husband, Matt, run a chicken store called Chicken and Waffles in Auburn, a suburb of Birmingham.
It’s a good job.
They are just so proud of what we do.
They keep us in the neighborhood, they keep us from the cold, and they make sure we have the best chicken on the block.
They know that, and it’s great that we get to share that with other people.
“They’ve had about 150 customers visit their restaurant in the past week.”
It’s always been about what we want to do with our lives,” Anderson said.
She said she can’t imagine anything better than opening up a business.”
When I first started, I couldn’t imagine doing what we’re doing right now,” she said.
The Birmingham area has a number of chicken-related restaurants, including a few in Auburn.
For a long time, people didn’t know the difference between chickens and turkeys.
But recently, it has become obvious.”
I feel like I’m a member of a family now,” Anderson, said.”
And I want people to know that it is okay to not know how to cook with a chicken.
It’s fine to be surprised.
