I was sitting in a café in Ottawa, Canada, with a colleague and one of our colleagues who is an electrical engineer.
We were both thinking about the electric poultry system we’re designing.
He said, “How long will it take to install it?”
And I said, oh, I don’t know.
It could be a couple of years, it could be like 10 years, and it could take 10, 15, 20 years.
And then he said, Well, what about the environment?
And I was like, “Oh, well, you know, it’s not as bad as it sounds, it has a much better environment than what we’re trying to create.”
But, I had a couple other problems, one is that it takes a long time to build, because you have to do a lot of electrical work.
It takes a while to get the wires to the chickens.
So, it takes quite a bit of time.
And the second thing is, there’s a lot that needs to be done to it, like installing the wires.
The chicken feeders have to be moved a lot.
And so, you need a lot more space for the feeders, and you also need to do lots of wiring to the feeder, and then there’s lots of maintenance.
And, of course, there are environmental costs.
So the electrical system is a huge engineering challenge.
And it’s a challenge to solve.
The second thing I want to talk about, which is something we’ve talked about before, is that the electric chicken netting is a really good solution for indoor poultry.
You have the right kind of temperature and humidity for a chicken to live in, and so you can have good ventilation.
It’s a nice system, it can be used for a lot different types of poultry.
And there are other things you can do, like having a really high water surface area, which makes it really efficient.
You can also use it to cool the chickens, so it’s really good for those kinds of poultry, because it doesn’t get as hot.
So you can use it for different kinds of feeder systems, for example, for laying eggs, for broiler chickens, and for chicken coop chickens.
It makes it possible to feed a lot bigger animals.
And you can feed them a lot faster than you can with the wire systems.
So it’s actually really good, and we’ll talk more about that.
